Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) is seeking a Nursing Facilities Investigator V in Temple to conduct on-site licensure inspections and investigations in long-term care facilities. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with state and federal health and safety laws, writing detailed reports, and supporting regulatory determinations.

The position requires strong investigative skills, ability to interpret complex regulations, and willingness to travel up to 80% across the state.

Responsabilidades

• On-site licensure inspections and investigations in facilities to determine compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Completes inspection or survey reports detailing deficiencies.
• Communicates clearly with others to provide, exchange, or verify information and address issues in long-term care facilities.
• Conducts exit conferences with facility staff regarding findings.
• Visits facilities to verify correction of cited regulatory violations.
• Performs quality assurance reviews of documents.
• May testify at hearings or in court regarding policy and findings.
• Be available for on-call duties for emergencies.
