Qualifications

• Must have SMQT Certification or obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Current license or registration as a nurse, social worker, respiratory therapist or dietician preferred.
• Flexibility in work hours; 80% travel; fingerprint background checks and SEMARC checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site licensure inspections, complaint and incident investigations, and annual surveys to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare inspection reports detailing deficiencies and required remedies.
• Communicate findings clearly with facility staff and stakeholders.
• Attend exit conferences and verify corrective actions.
• Possibly testify at hearings or in court regarding policy, findings, or activities.
