The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Houston seeks an RN Investigator VI to protect residents’ health by conducting on-site surveys and investigations of Home and Community-based Services Medicaid providers. The role requires mobility, detailed reporting, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

As part of HHSC Long-term Care Regulation, you will assess compliance with state and federal laws, prepare corrective action plans, and travel regionally across Texas.

Qualifications

• On-site inspections of providers under Medicaid programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations into abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Strong report-writing and regulatory documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site inspections and comprehensive surveys to determine provider compliance.
• Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation in Medicaid programs.
• Write detailed reports with findings, remedies, and regulatory narratives.
• Travel across the state to visit providers and verify corrections.
• Develop and deliver training for field investigators.
