Job summary

Sanford Health, Mandan, ND is hiring a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts. You will provide resident-centered care under an RN, assist with daily living activities, and help monitor health needs in a long-term care setting.

Requirements include CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and 2 years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• 12 hours of continuing education required annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care per care plan and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and supplements; create a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support Restorative Nursing and participate in wellness activities.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks to keep resident areas clean.
