Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a nurse supervisor to provide leadership on patient care units. You will collaborate with management on staff evaluations, patient flow, education for staff and families, and act as a patient/guest service ambassador while solving daily challenges.

The role requires a BSN (or RN with BSN), RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as assigned, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. EOE, including disability/vets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years
• RN license in good standing
• BSN preferred; MSN if non-nursing degree

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and leadership to the patient care units
• Collaborates with manager on staff evaluations and staffing
• Coordinates staffing and nursing assignments for shifts
• Participates in hourly rounding and ensures compliance with hospital policies
• Serves as patient/guest service ambassador and assists with problem solving on tour of duty
• Supports staff education for patients and families
