UPMC - Pittsburgh Medical Center is seeking a Senior Professional Staff Nurse for a part-time night role (24 hours/week). The position emphasizes leadership, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice, with responsibility for a patient population and collaboration with physicians and teams.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, preferably a BSN, and demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication skills and mentoring abilities to support staff and learners across shifts.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR and ACLS/BLS certifications as applicable.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a care team.

Responsabilidades

• Set and maintain standards for quality of care and patient outcomes.
• Lead, supervise and collaborate with care teams across shifts.
• Apply evidence-based practice to patient care and unit improvement.
• Mentor students, new hires, and staff through precepting and training.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients and families.
