UPMC is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse to join the nursing team. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, applying independent judgment, and collaborating with physicians and care teams to achieve optimum patient outcomes.

The position emphasizes leadership, education, and patient-centered care within a dynamic hospital setting. The Professional Staff Nurse will participate in governance, quality improvement, and staff development while maintaining compliance with licensure

Formación

• Zero to two years of nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• CPR certification required per AHA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care and clinical leadership for a patient group.
• Demonstrate accountability, safety, and teamwork with care teams.
• Apply nursing process and documentation to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Support student and junior staff development through teaching and precepting when applicable.
• Engage in quality improvement activities and apply evidence-based practice.
