Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) is seeking a Nuclear Engineer to support our federal clients in Oak Ridge, TN, Idaho Falls, ID, or remotely. The role emphasizes safety analysis, regulatory compliance, and engineering reviews.

REQUIREMENTS include a degree in Nuclear/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 5–10 years' direct experience (MS 3–7 years), U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain security clearance. Proficiency with MCNP, SCALE, and KENO is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) with 5–10 years' experience, or MS with 3–7 years.
• Eligibility for drug screening and security clearance; must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency with criticality safety codes and software tools such as MCNP, SCALE, and KENO.
• Hands-on experience with criticality safety assessments designing, evaluating, and reviewing systems.
• Experience in safety evaluations and risk assessments related to nuclear processes like fuel fabrication.
