Job summary

Blue Energy is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to help develop and implement its nuclear Quality Assurance Program. The role supports staff and external partners on QA topics and ensures alignment with regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Quality, you will oversee QA program maintenance, procedures, training, and supplier qualification audits to enable the fast deployment of nuclear units in a rigorous compliance environment.

Qualifications

• 10 CFR 50 Appendix B knowledge required
• ASME NQA-1, ASME III, ISO 9001 familiarity
• 10 years NRC-compliant quality assurance experience
• 5 years in nuclear QA program management
• Experience writing procedures

Responsibilities

• Model and uphold highest QA standards across programs
• Develop and maintain a nuclear QA program
• Provide oversight and guidance on QA requirements
• Create QA procedures and corrective action processes
• Manage document and records management programs
• Train staff on QA topics and issue resolution
• Ensure staff understand QA requirements and apply them
• Review procurement documents for quality controls
• Conduct independent QA assessments and audits
• Support QA services and supplier oversight
• Perform supplier qualification audits
