Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist III to help build and maintain the QA program for the world’s first NRC-approved Small Modular Reactor. The role interfaces with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, ASME BPVC III, and ISO 9001.

The incumbent will lead project-specific quality plans, participate in supplier qualification surveys, and support the Corrective Action Program while enabling robust QA processes

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience developing or implementing nuclear QA programs.
• Experience with commercial nuclear plants or nuclear field preferred.
• Global nuclear experience with ISO 9001 is preferred and valued.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and improves the QA program per 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, NQA-1, ASME BPVC III, ISO 9001.
• Reviews procedures for compliance with requirements and regulations.
• Ensures customer requirements are satisfied and identifies gaps for more effort.
• Leads development of project-specific quality plans and communicates requirements to stakeholders.
• Performs supplier qualification surveys, audits, and surveillance; internal QA audits and causal analyses.
