Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-year technical degree with 6 years related experience, or high school diploma with 8 years related experience.
• Experience with Navy Work Authorization Forms and Tag Outs using eSOMS.
• Ability to work in a shipboard environment.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Confidential Security Clearance.
• Proficient in interpreting technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers and project teams on nuclear propulsion overhaul and modernization.
• Gather, maintain, format, and analyze technical data; support engineering evaluations and documentation.
• Prepare procedures, work instructions, drawings, schematics, and other engineering deliverables.
• Perform detailed calculations and use computer-based tools for design, planning, and execution.
• Identify issues, investigate solutions, and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Support waterfront and shop-floor activities to ensure safe, compliant execution.
