Job summary

Stanley Consultants, a leader in global engineering consulting, seeks a Senior Project Manager for Nuclear projects. The role involves leading design teams, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and optimizing client service and financial performance on large, complex programs. Hybrid work options across multiple U.S.

locations are available. The ideal candidate has 20+ years in Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years in PM, PMP familiarity, and experience with Design Bid Build, GMP, and EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college or university.
• 20+ years of increasing experience in the Nuclear Energy Engineering Industry with at least 10 years in project management.
• Experience in Nuclear and Thermal Generation projects such as BOP and STG design for Nuclear Facilities.
• Firm understanding of PMP Principles.
• Demonstrated capabilities in managing large multi-discipline programs, multi-office projects, or multiple projects.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Experience in Design Bid Build, Design Build, GMP, and EPC project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of medium to large, multi-discipline engineering projects across multiple offices.
• Support business development through project scoping, fee development, proposals, interviews, and contract development.
• Define project scope, determine work procedures, schedules, budgets, staffing, and vendor lists.
• Form a project team, assign responsibilities, and ensure execution aligns with schedule.
• Submit documents to federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance and permits.
• Meet with clients to resolve issues and obtain approvals at project completion.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships as part of business development.
• Plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements.
• Manage day-to-day activities of project engagements including clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare project openings, outlines, initiation, schedules, executions, and closings.
• Achieve project objectives including quality, scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintain accurate project records and analyze performance.
• Identify potential out-of-scope work and manage change orders.
• Identify and manage project risk from proposal through duration.
• Understand key commercial elements in Energy projects.
• Train, mentor, and oversee other Project Managers and conduct portfolio reviews.
