Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead nuclear energy programs across multiple offices. You will define scope, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in nuclear energy engineering and 10+ years in project management, with PMP principles. PE license and PMI certification are preferred; strong leadership and client relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 20+ years of increasing experience in the Nuclear Energy Engineering Industry with a minimum of 10 years in project management.
• Experience in Nuclear and Thermal Generation projects such as BOP and STG design for Nuclear Facilities
• Firm understanding of PMP Principles.
• Demonstrated capabilities and success in managing large multi-discipline programs, projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Experience in Design Bid Build, Design Build, GMP, and EPC project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of medium to large multi-discipline engineering projects with stakeholders across locations.
• Support business development through scoping, proposals, interviews, and contract development.
• Review projects after award to define scope, procedures, schedules, budgets, staffing, and progress milestones.
• Form project teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure tasks start and finish on schedule.
• Submit documents to authorities for code compliance and obtain permits.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals at project completion.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships as part of business development.
• Plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements.
• Manage day-to-day activities of project engagements including clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare project openings, outlines, initiation, schedules, executions, and closings.
• Achieve project objectives including quality, scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintain accurate project records and performance metrics.
• Analyze project performance, resource utilization, profitability, margins, and revenues.
• Identify potential out of scope work and manage contract changes.
• Identify and manage project risk from proposal through duration.
• Understand key commercial elements of Energy projects.
• Train, mentor, and oversee other Project Managers and conduct portfolio reviews.
