Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing Nuclear design teams for projects like SMRs. The role requires oversight of scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk across large, complex programs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor other PMs, and drive business development while coordinating with clients and regulatory authorities. This hybrid role supports multiple locations and remote work options in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college or university.
• 20+ years in Nuclear Energy Engineering with at least 10 years in project management.
• Experience in Nuclear and Thermal Generation projects (BOP and STG).
• Firm understanding of PMP Principles.
• Experience leading large multi-discipline programs across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of medium to large engineering projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Support business development through scoping, proposals, and contracts.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and risk management.
• Form project teams and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Coordinate with authorities for permits and code compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and drive ongoing business development.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate project engagements and communications.
• Manage day-to-day activities with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare opening orders, schedules, and closings; monitor performance metrics.
• Identify out-of-scope work and negotiate change orders.
• Train and mentor other project managers; conduct reviews.
