Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex nuclear power plant modification programs in a hybrid work model ( Knoxville area). The role involves coordinating engineering, licensing, and environmental disciplines, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and delivering client-focused outcomes.

You will develop relationships with client engineers and stakeholders, report KPIs, and mentor team members while navigating multi-disciplinary teams and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• BS from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years of experience in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience with project management and coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong and dynamic written, verbal and intercultural communication skills.
• Experience with preparing and presenting technical reports virtually and in-person.
• Experience with feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution across multiple disciplines and coordinate resources.
• Lead all aspects of project execution including safety, schedule, budget, reporting and client experience.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with client task engineers and stakeholders.
• Support reporting of KPIs for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify and manage project risks and changes.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve constraints.
• Lead and direct project team to achieve client and company goals.
• Mentor and coach project team members with timely feedback.
• Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results.
• Develop and implement engineering and project management solutions meeting client goals.
• Prepare and/or review reports and studies presenting technical information clearly.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
• Provide training and support to clients and team members.
