Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC seeks a skilled engineer to design and analyze NSSS pipe systems, applying ASME BPVC III standards and regulatory requirements. You will use AutoPIPE and ANSYS for complex stress analyses and lead piping design projects within the NSSS design organization.

You will mentor junior engineers, prepare drawings and specifications, and ensure quality across CAD models in Siemens NX. Travel may be required for business needs, with some remote options available under defined

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Engineering (Nuclear or Mechanical); advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant, full-time engineering experience.
• Experience with ASME BPVC Section III piping design and stress analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex piping design and stress analysis for ASME BPVC III Class 1–3 piping systems using AutoPIPE and ANSYS.
• Provide oversight and mentoring to early-career engineers in piping stress and pipe support analysis.
• Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, CAD models, and documentation communicating piping design for NSSS systems.
