Qualifications

• Formal training in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• State license to practice in Rhode Island with current Nuclear Medicine ARRT or CNMT certification.
• CT certification from Rhode Island is preferred.
• Two letters of recommendation from technical/supervisory staff in Diagnostic Imaging and two criteria toward Technologist II progression.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform patient studies and analyses per department procedures.
• Operate gamma cameras, uptake units, dose calibrator, well counter, RIS, PACS and related equipment.
• Bill patients for supplies with correct codes and quantities.
• Perform daily QA on imaging and monitoring instruments and report irregularities.
• Train new staff and students; support accreditation activities.
