Job summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, Medical Imaging, this role performs routine Nuclear Medicine studies and supports daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine Program. It requires maintaining a RI license and ARRT/CNMT certification, with emphasis on patient care, safety, accuracy, and efficient imaging workflows.

Responsibilities include operating gamma cameras and related equipment, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, managing coding and billing accuracy, and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must hold current Nuclear Medicine ARRT or CNMT certification.
• Ability to interface effectively with patients to alleviate fears and anxieties.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform patient studies per department procedures.
• Operate and navigate IS software such as MAK, Syngo, PACS and RIS.
• Perform daily quality assurance on imaging and monitoring instruments.
