Job summary

TerraPower LLC. is seeking an experienced Licensing Manager to lead the Natrium licensing team in Bellevue, WA. You will guide a distributed group of licensing engineers focused on a 10 CFR 50 approach, coordinating with Engineering and regulatory bodies to advance licensing milestones.

You will manage interactions with the NRC, ensure QA-compliant documents, and help shape licensing strategies for the project. Experience in reactor licensing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years in the nuclear industry are required.
• 2+ years in new or advanced reactor licensing or oversight.
• 2+ years of supervisory or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute ongoing licensing activities.
• Ensure timely, compliant licensing documents and submissions.
• Coordinate with NRC questions and information requests.
• Maintain licensing documents with QA standards.
• Interface with TerraPower teams and partners.
• Review regulatory correspondence and develop licensing strategies.
