Job summary

X Energy, LLC in Gaithersburg, MD seeks an experienced licensing professional to advance reactor licensing efforts. You will interface with internal teams and the U.S. NRC to develop regulatory content and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Requirements include 15–20 years in licensing, a engineering or science degree, and strong knowledge of CFR Part 73. The role is based in the Gaithersburg office with in-person collaboration for most weeks.

Qualifications

• Fifteen to twenty years of relevant licensing experience.
• Knowledge of NRC licensing activities and cybersecurity for reactors.
• Experience applying 10 CFR Part 73 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support licensing activities for reactor technologies and ensure milestones with the NRC.
• Develop technical requirements and ensure compliance with NRC guidance.
• Contribute to regulatory engagement plans and respond to NRC data requests.
