Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Generation Project Manager for the Surry Nuclear Projects to lead major and smaller projects through scope development, contracting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and transition to operations.

You will report to the Supervisor Project Management and may manage Non-Dominion Energy Workers. A PE license or PMP certification is preferred, with extensive nuclear industry experience highly valued. Travel applies.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of work experience in construction, engineering, business management, or project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, related Associate's degree with nine+ years experience.
• In lieu of a degree, High School diploma/GED with eleven+ years experience.
• Three or more years of demonstrated project management experience.
• Demonstrated success in developing and managing project performance to meet requirements and schedules.
• Strong team-building and leadership skills, with effective interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate technical problem resolution.
• Ability to engage with all levels of management and staff; represent the project and company in public forums.
• Preferred: experience in the nuclear power industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support phases of major projects including scope development, contracting, engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Oversee budgets and schedules for both major and smaller projects across the facility.
• Lead and develop project teams; ensure milestones are met and safety standards upheld.
