Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Supervisor-Nuclear Engineering for the Surry site. The role reports to the Manager - Site Engineering and leads the Engineering Maintenance Support team overseeing site engineering programs and maintenance activities.

The incumbent will collaborate across Maintenance, Nuclear Site Services and I&C to implement schedules, mentor engineers, and perform EMOC and Outage Control Center duties during outages, while potentially joining the Emergency Response Organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year of nuclear power plant experience.
• On-site experience to include at least .25 yr.
• Certification as a nuclear Shift Technical Advisor or Senior Reactor Operator is desired but not required.
• Knowledge of power plant operations.
• ANSI 3.1-2014, Section 4.4.8 certification/qualification is required or desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Engineering Maintenance Support team responsible for site engineering programs and providing support to site engineering systems and site maintenance teams.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Engineering Maintenance Support team.
• Work with Maintenance, Nuclear Site Services and I&C to facilitate timely and reliable implementation schedules.
• Perform duties as Engineering point of conduct as EMOC and as Outage Control Center Engineering Representative during outages.
• Support the Emergency Response Organization and other duties as assigned.
