Job summary

Oklo is seeking a Senior Maintenance Program Engineer to own the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of fleet maintenance standards across Oklo facilities. You will establish maintenance requirements, technical bases, work-management practices, and system data to enable consistent, safety-focused plant performance.

This role sits at the intersection of Facility Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Training, Quality, and digital systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the nuclear industry.
• Experience in maintenance scheduling and in a maintenance leadership role.
• Strong understanding of nuclear plant operations and interfaces among Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Training, and Supply Chain.
• Experience developing, implementing, governing, or improving preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ability to develop defensible maintenance strategies and translate them into executable work requirements.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management or enterprise asset management systems, asset hierarchies, equipment history, and maintenance master data.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement fleet maintenance framework for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Develop equipment maintenance strategies and bases using functions, criticality, failure modes, vendor recommendations, and operating experience.
• Translate strategies into preventive-maintenance tasks, frequencies, acceptance criteria, job plans, procedures, and documentation.
• Establish standardized hierarchies, naming conventions, classifications, and maintenance data requirements.
• Develop work-management practices for identification, screening, planning, scheduling, execution, testing, closeout, history and backlog.
• Lead implementation of fleet maintenance standards, including asset-data development and readiness reviews.
• Monitor schedule compliance, backlog health, preventive maintenance completion, and equipment reliability to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, site teams, vendors, and Supply Chain on BOMs, spares, and obsolescence concerns.
• Develop and maintain procedures, templates, training inputs, and controlled records across Facility Operations and partners.
