Job summary

Oklo is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead the fuel recycling engineering efforts within our Recycling Division. You will translate complex objectives into disciplined programs, partnering with functional teams to mature plans and milestones in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

As a technically fluent leader, you will coordinate with Team Leads, manage risks, and drive schedules while delivering high-integrity engineering work and clear executive updates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Engineering Program Management or similar (engineering or technical project management, technical product management, systems engineering, or related technical leadership roles).
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional engineering work in industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Experience delivering engineered hardware in design, analysis, safety, prototyping, operations, maintenance, or testing.
• Demonstrated success guiding an engineered product through maturity iterations.
• Familiarity with a variety of PM tools and adapting tools as scope changes.

Responsibilities

• Define program scope, deliverables, success criteria, decision points, and milestones aligned with division objectives.
• Translate requirements into executable engineering and analysis plans.
• Drive deliverables, acceptance criteria, and verification methods.
• Build and maintain integrated work plans across program functions.
• Maintain dependencies, long-lead activities, and decision dates.
• Lead day-to-day cadence including planning, meetings, reviews, and blockers.
• Coordinate interfaces with other teams, regulators, safety, procurement partners.
• Maintain risks, assumptions, interfaces, decisions, and open items.
• Prepare and facilitate program reviews with clear criteria and actions.
• Communicate status to engineers, leaders, and executives.
• Continuously improve planning and execution processes.
