Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex nuclear power plant modification projects, including SMRs. You will coordinate multiple disciplines, manage scope, and ensure contract adherence while driving performance and client satisfaction.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering education and 5+ years in a technical field, with strong communication and reporting skills. Hybrid in-office/life role preferred when coordinating with teams.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning).
• Proven project management and coordination experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Effective written, verbal, and intercultural communication.
• Experience preparing and presenting technical reports.
• Experience with feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Proficient in Microsoft software and tools.
• Committed to professional development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project execution, coordination of resources from each discipline as required.
• Lead all aspects of project execution including safety, schedule, budget, reporting and client experience through entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with client task engineers and stakeholders.
• Support the reporting of key performance indicators for schedule, budget and other dashboard items.
• Recognize, identify, track and control project risks and change.
• Timely communicate and consult with appropriate stakeholders and supervisors to resolve project constraints.
