Job summary

A leading infrastructure development firm is looking for a Senior Estimator to prepare cost estimates and execute project plans. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in the construction industry, strong skills in communication and organization, and a degree in Engineering or Project Management. Responsibilities include participation in design reviews, creating project specifications, and producing detailed cost budgets for successful bids. A commitment to safety and integrity is paramount in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience within estimating on medium to large construction projects.
• Good knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of contract language, terms, and bonding.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews for MEP, Civil and Architectural Subcontract packages.
• Create sketches, drawings, and specifications to meet client requirements.
• Drive the production of detailed cost budgets on successfully bid projects.

Strong communication skills – oral and written

Exceptional organizational Skills

Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters

Expert in reading and understanding construction drawings

Education

Diploma or Degree within Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
