Job summary

ProSidian seeks a Principal Engineering Technical Support Specialist to provide on-site program support across the Nuclear and Environmental Management sector in the Southeast, primarily Aiken, South Carolina. The role emphasizes planning, engineering analysis, documentation, and compliance within a safety-critical environment.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in engineering/operations with strong leadership, and will work under a contract contingent or W-2 arrangement at client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience providing engineering and technical support in a nuclear/environmental management context.
• Strong ability to lead technical planning, design, and procedures in complex projects.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in DOE or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering activities independently across a broad scope.
• Plans, develops, and budgets for technical functions in design and start-up.
• Develops specifications and designs for process, instrumentation, and systems.
• Plans and implements process changes; maintains testing equipment inventory.
• Oversees equipment installation and calibration modifications.
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring to staff.
