Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Principal Engineering & Technical Support Specialist to support SRNS operations at Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. The role emphasizes advanced technical expertise, planning, budgeting, and coordination with vendors and PTs to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient operations.

The candidate is expected to have 12–15 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship for security requirements, and DOE Q clearance eligibility, along with health and safety training

Qualifications

• At least 12-15 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship due to federal contract security requirements.
• Must pass a federal background investigation to secure/maintain DOE Q clearance.
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug/background testing.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced expertise and support SRNS operations for broad-to-abstract technical issues with site-wide implications.
• Direct, plan, develop, implement, and administer technical operations programs.
• Ensure technical aspects of operations comply with governing directives and DOE orders.
• Budget for technical functions supporting pre-conceptual design, construction, and startup of facilities.
• Interface with vendors to resolve equipment, staffing, and technical issues.
• Develop operating procedures and training programs for technicians on equipment/instruments.
