Qualifications

• BS or advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another technical field with 10–13 years of related experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance.
• Experience in nuclear plant system design or DOE facilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate with design engineers and hazards analysis teams.
• Develop and review technical reports, design documentation, and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear design standards and safety requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction for tasks and assign work to engineers.
