Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• BS or advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or related field with 10–13 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with nuclear design and safety analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering methods and criteria.
• Lead and participate in hazards/safety assessments and interface with design engineering and operations.
• Develop nuclear safety information for the Safety Case Strategy and technical requirements.
• Perform calculations for plant systems and equipment, including shielding and dose assessments.
