The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers and designers across disciplines, handling design change packages, calculations, specifications, and vendor interactions, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years designing electrical systems for industrial applications, including nuclear plants.
• Experience with equipment selection, engineering change packages, calculations and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design change packages to install, replace or upgrade equipment for reliability.
• Prepare and review detailed calculations including short circuit, voltage drop, cable ampacity, breaker coordination, motor starting and protective relay settings.
• Prepare and review equipment procurement specifications and support vendor questions.
• Interface with project team, client and vendors; attend client meetings and site walkdowns; travel to client and vendor locations.
