Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks a Senior NCS Engineer for the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant Deactivation and Remediation project. This role is remote with occasional site visits to Paducah, KY, and reports to NCS program management.

Responsibilities include preparing NCSEs, NCSDs, NCSRs, CI documents, peer reviews, and applying SCALE 6.1.3; DOE regulations compliance; mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 7+ years related NCS experience; 3+ years direct NCS Engineer work.
• DOE L clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Expert understanding of codes, standards, and project procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NCS Evaluations (NCSEs), NCSDs, NCSRs and related calculations.
• Develop CI documents and perform peer reviews of NCS documents.
• Lead and support NCS project tasks, ensuring DOE regulatory compliance.
• Interface with DOE, other technical and production groups for information.
• Mentor and train junior staff when needed.
