Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC seeks a qualified Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) Engineer to join our safety basis team at a major U.S. facility.

You will evaluate operations, perform complex modeling, and establish engineering controls to ensure compliance with double-contingency and prevent accidental chain reactions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in criticality analysis including experience issuing Nuclear Criticality Safety Evaluations for DOE or equivalent facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain Nuclear Criticality Safety Evaluations (NCSEs) and analyses.
• Review Safety Analysis and Criticality Safety activities per 10 CFR 830 and related documents.
• Perform criticality calculations and establish safety limits for fissile materials.
• Interface with DOE, NNSA, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
