Oklo is seeking a Senior Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer to lead criticality safety evaluations and develop the NCS program for a first-of-a-kind used nuclear fuel recycling facility. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in nuclear engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years experience performing CSEs as part of a nuclear facility’s safety basis.

Aufgaben

• Perform criticality safety evaluations to demonstrate subcriticality under normal and abnormal conditions.
• Develop the criticality safety basis and program for the facility.
• Architect the NCS program, methodologies, and management measures.
• Document criticality hazard analyses, CSEs, and supporting information.
• Develop the NCS program's accident alarm system and response plan.
• Support safety basis development and licensing efforts.
• Evaluate and implement controlled parameters for the NCS program.
