Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior engineer to own end‑to‑end integration verification for the NPI solar array production lines, ensuring scalable, high‑volume manufacturing. This role is hands‑on on the factory floor and will write the models that prove the architecture meets ramp targets.

You will work on cell interconnection, lamination, bonding, mechanism assembly, tooling and automation, and you’ll analyze process capability, yield and throughput to guide design choices and capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end integration verification of the NPI value stream and interfaces between process areas.
• Build and maintain capacity, availability, and throughput models for rate closure.
• Characterize how the integrated system behaves with instrumentation; analyze variation.
• Establish rate conditions design, capabilities, and verification methods.
• Author production architecture requirements for modularity and capacity margin.
• Derive rate and interface requirements for equipment and tooling specifications.
• Build producibility feedback tooling to quantify production consequences of design choices.
• Carry proven changes from NPI toward production with capability evidence.
• Partner with design, Operations, and mission assurance on related tasks.
