Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking an NPI Sourcing Specialist to bridge R&D and mass production, managing sourcing for electronics, semiconductors, and mechanical assemblies. You’ll collaborate with engineering to select capable suppliers and influence cost through early-stage should-cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, or supplier management experience (R&D environment preferred).
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems and MS/Google Suite tools; dashboards a plus.
• Relevant industrial experience in Consumer Electronics, semiconductors, or Automotive (with autonomous driving).
• PMI/ISM/APICS certifications weight favorably.

Responsibilities

• Strategic supplier identification and vetting for advanced components and assemblies.
• Should-cost modeling to drive early stage cost-out initiatives and negotiate TCO.
• Manage NPI material availability with Operations Program Manager.
• Place and track purchase requisitions and POs; follow up on open orders.
• Maintain procurement metrics and update systems with delivery timelines.
• Analyze procurement and inventory data to inform strategies and improve efficiency.
