Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Senior NPI Program Manager (Operations) to own the NPI schedule from tape-out to production release. You’ll coordinate ASIC, product, test, system, software engineering and planning teams to deliver on time while navigating a matrixed organization.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering program management with a strong engineering background and PMP or similar certification.

Qualifications

7+ years of proven experience in an engineering or technical program management role.
Bachelor's in EE (or equivalent); Master's preferred.
PMP or other project/program management certification is a plus.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making and cross-functional influencing skills.
Proficiency in program management and planning tools; supply chain process knowledge.

Responsibilities

Track key results, constraints, risks, dependencies and clearly identify critical paths with teams.
Handle cross-functional communications and publish progress to upper management.
Bring diverse teams together to tackle complex problems and work toward closure.
Develop Plan of Record (POR) and qualification plans to support production release.
Develop wafer/hardware risk plans and own sample supply.
Lead cross-functional NPI meetings and highlight Ops issues for production readiness.
Drive process improvement initiatives to speed product bring-up and efficiency.
Own NPI supply commits, production ramp and release milestones; manage budgets.
Develop metrics for Ops planning, engineering, logistics and quality teams.
