Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced NPI Program Manager to lead portfolio execution across the PAC, Grid Automation and Software teams. Based in Stafford, UK, with hybrid working and international travel as required, you will drive stage‑gate governance, milestone tracking and commercial launch readiness for complex grid solutions.

You will coordinate with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to remove barriers, align priorities, and deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• 5+ years delivering New Product Introduction, product development or technical programme management.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑PgMP or equivalent programme/project management certification.
• Experience within electric utilities, power systems, protection and control, substation automation or industrial digitalisation.
• Familiarity with hardware/software integrated product development and global launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of NPI and product development initiatives across the PAC portfolio.
• Oversee project execution from early assessment, planning and stage‑gate governance through to launch readiness and commercial release.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activity across Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Services and regional teams.
• Remove execution barriers, facilitate timely decision‑making and elevate critical issues where required.
• Establish and maintain integrated programme plans covering technical development, industrialisation, validation, certification, manufacturing readiness and commercial launch.
