Job summary

Semtech is seeking a Principal NPI Product Engineer to own new product development programs from concept through full production transfer. You will collaborate with design, validation, test, characterization, quality, and operations to drive high-performance IC portfolios in cutting-edge CMOS and BiCMOS technologies.

In this role you will lead NPI program ownership, drive DfT and DfM strategies, and coordinate data-driven characterization and yield optimization across PVT conditions, ensuring

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS strongly preferred.
10+ years of semiconductor product engineering, test engineering, or design engineering.
Hands-on experience with ATE test development, ATE-to-bench correlation, and production test limit setting.

Responsibilities

Own NPI programs from concept through final release with cross-functional teams.
Define and drive DfT and DfM requirements for NPI products; develop ATE programs with test engineering.
Lead product characterization, data analysis, and yield optimization across PVT variations.
Oversee manufacturing quality, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
