Anthropic Limited is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to own the path from supplier designs to fully qualified, manufacturable, and field-ready power and cooling equipment. You will work between electrical and mechanical design teams, supply chain, and supplier factories to ensure gates EVT, DVT, PVT, FAT, and SAT are cleared before production.
The role is hands-on, requiring time on supplier floors, test labs, and site commissioning, with travel to supplier sites as needed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering experience in power electronics or industrial energy systems
- At least 4 years in an NPI, product development, or product engineering role
- Experience with structured qualification programs (EVT/DVT/PVT, FAT/SAT) and CAPA
Responsabilités
- Own the NPI program for new power or cooling products from concept to ramp
- Drive early supplier design engagement and define product requirements
- Lead DFM/DFT/DFx reviews with suppliers for manufacturability
- Plan prototype and pilot builds, define EVT/DVT/PVT scopes and tests
- Qualify products for deployment with FAT, SAT, and first article inspection
- Handover to steady state with control plans and test procedures
- Build the reliability picture through FMEA/DFMEA and burn-in targets
- Coordinate cross-functionally to align campus delivery with NPI schedules
- Keep suppliers honest with metrics and early reviews
