Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This role focuses on collaborating closely with design and supporting design for manufacturing (DFM) efforts, encompassing process development, work instruction creation, lean manufacturing, and tooling development.

You will lead the introduction of new products from prototype to full-scale production, influencing integrated project teams, designing assembly tooling, developing

Qualifikationen

• Degree in STEM and at least 8 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, PPAP and APQP.
• US citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Lead the introduction of new products from prototype to full-scale production for medium to large scope programs.
• Influence integrated project teams and larger teams.
• Design assembly tooling and fixtures using CAD software.
• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct process flow and capacity analyses to ensure optimal production rates.
• Develop PFMEA and MSA.
• Collaborate with design engineering to refine product designs for manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Lead new product process improvement initiatives.
