Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Burnsville, MN. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing to develop processes, tooling, and DFx for manufacturability, applying lean methods and PFMEA.

The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, CAD proficiency (CREO), PPAP/APQP experience, and US citizenship. We offer relocation eligibility and strong RTX benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with PPAP and APQP methodologies.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead intro of new products from prototype to production for medium to large programs.
• Design assembly tooling/fixtures using CAD tools.
• Develop efficient manufacturing processes and drive lean initiatives.
• Perform PFMEA and MSA analyses and ensure manufacturability with design teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with standards.
