Job summary
Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks an experienced NPI Engineering Manager in a high-impact role based in the US. You will lead engineers to drive manufacturability and predictability from design through transition to rate production, partnering with design, producibility, test and quality teams.
You will coach talent, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with corporate values while delivering robust New Product Introductions across programs.
Qualifications
- University Degree required with 8+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years; more experience accepted.
- Lean Six Sigma or APQP principles are essential for this role.
- PMP and CSMTA certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to influence product design for manufacturability.
- Coordinate between Operations, Engineering and Program Management during development and transition to production.
- Track project status, support meetings, ensure process compliance and financial planning.
- Mentor and develop team members, manage budget and resources.
- Communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences and drive risk reduction.
