Job summary

Supermicro in the United States currently seeks a Sr. Program Manager to lead engineering programs, scheduling, cost analysis, early access, and first customer shipment.

You will guide cross-functional teams from sales, production, and purchasing with strong project management and communication skills. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, 8+ years in the computer/server industry, and experience with contract manufacturing, NPI, ECO, and ERP systems such as SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of experience in the computer/server industry.
• Experience with contract manufacturing, product development, project management, quality control, and/or procurement.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key OEM customers to provide turnkey manufacturing services.
• Drive production planning, material readiness, shortages, order fulfillment, quality control and new product development topics.
• Coordinate tasks of cross-functional teams from Sales, Production, Product Management, and Purchasing.
• Assist engineering programs including NPI, FAI and ECO related scheduling and material planning.
• Analyze customer forecast demands and maintain material schedules to mitigate shortages and ensure fast order fulfillment.
• Plan for end-of-life product schedule and post-sale service requirements.
• Identify and develop business models and process improvements in supply chain and production.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
