Evolv Technologies is seeking a Senior New Product Introduction Engineer to lead the manufacturing introduction of complex hardware products from development through production ramp. This role operates within Evolv’s Supply Chain, collaborating with Product Development, Quality, Sourcing, and contract manufacturers to ensure manufacturability and scalable launches.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated history of successfully launching complex hardware products into production.
• Extensive hands-on NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering experience.
• Proven experience working directly with third-party contract manufacturers during product introduction and ramp.
• Strong experience leading DFM/DFA activities and influencing designs before release.
• Experience planning prototype, engineering, validation, pilot, and production builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI and Launch Leadership for complex hardware introductions.
• Develop manufacturing launch plans from development through production ramp.
• Define build objectives, entrance/exit criteria, deliverables, and readiness requirements.
• Lead manufacturing readiness reviews before major builds and production release.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Operations, suppliers, and CM partners.
• Drive launch risks and build issues to documented closure; ensure lessons learned are captured.
