Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Senior New Product Introduction Engineer to transition advanced electronics and avionics from prototype to flight-ready hardware for next-generation lunar systems.

You will bridge development, manufacturing, test, supply chain, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure design intent and production readiness throughout the NPI lifecycle, leading DFx activities and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
8+ years combining electronics manufacturing with technical program or NPI coordination.
Hands-on experience with PCBA manufacturing, SMT, and test integration.
Experience with contract manufacturers and EMS providers on build execution.
Strength in DFM, DFA, and DFT with demonstrated implementation.
Ability to manage complex technical programs with hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities

Execute new product introduction for complex electronics assemblies and avionics hardware.
Drive DFM, DFA, and DFT improvements with hands-on analysis and feedback.
Coordinate build configuration readiness, releases, and build records.
Support manufacturing process development, validation, and troubleshooting.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing and test failures.
Represent the development team on floor with contract manufacturers to resolve issues.
Align build strategies and production readiness criteria across programs.
Communicate build risks and production readiness in program reviews.
