Job summary

Blue Origin in Denver, CO, is seeking a Senior New Product Introduction Engineer to transition advanced electronics from prototype to flight-ready hardware for lunar systems. You will act as a technical bridge between development, manufacturing, test, supply chain, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

We value hands-on experience with PCBA manufacturing, SMT, and DFM/DFT principles, and you will lead NPI programs to enable production ramp and robust build quality across complex avionics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of electronics manufacturing and NPI experience.
• Hands‑on experience with PCBA manufacturing and SMT processes.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing and product development environments.
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, and DFT principles with demonstrated implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute new product introduction for complex electronics assemblies, PCBAs, and avionics hardware.
• Drive DFM, DFA, and DFT improvements through hands‑on analysis and manufacturability feedback.
• Coordinate build configuration readiness, including engineering documentation, release packages, and build records.
• Support manufacturing process development, validation, troubleshooting, and technical issue closure.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing, assembly, and test failures.
• Represent the development team on manufacturing floors and with contract manufacturers to resolve build issues and close technical gaps.
• Align build strategies, prototype and pilot build objectives, risk posture, and production readiness criteria.
• Communicate build risks, technical issues, and production‑readiness status in program reviews and cross‑functional forums.
