Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive mechanical product development experience.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and develop compliant designs.
• Experience applying DOE.
• Experience using FEA or similar structural simulation tools.
• Proficient in GD&T, DFMEA/FMEA, DFMA.
• Excellent communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD programs from concept to production launch.
• Translate customer specifications into compliant designs and matrices.
• Design mechanical components, mechanisms, actuators, and assemblies.
• Develop drawings, documentation, and data packages.
• Lead prototype development, testing, and qualification.
• Develop and execute DOE, engineering validation, and test plans.
• Perform structural analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Present status and risks to customers and leadership.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
