Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. Network/System Technician to support a high-profile DoD contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves monitoring and maintaining enterprise IT services, including networks, servers, and storage, across classified environments.

Responsibilities include incident triage, remediation, and coordinating with NOSC and government partners. A Security+ and DoD TS/SCI clearance are required, with hands-on AD management and ServiceNow experience essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8–12 years (or masters with 6–10 years) in network operations or IT support.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and Security+ or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support Tier I-III network, system, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot issues.
• Oversee real-time monitoring of global enterprise networks using DoD-approved tools.
• Develop and enforce incident response workflows and escalation procedures.
• Interface with government partners on network status and operations.
• Prepare briefings and AARs for leadership; document outages and resolutions.
• Use ServiceNow for ticketing, reports, tasks, and change requests.
