Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced customer-facing leader to coach and grow a team of Cloud Solutions Architects focused on nonprofit customers in the United States. You will enable and coach architects on best practices, solution selling, and presenting architectures of varying sizes while collaborating with sales to drive revenue growth.

You will be responsible for developing technical leadership, ramping new hires, and shaping strategic technology initiatives across nonprofit

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead two sub verticals within our nonprofit business.
• Set and lead strategic technology initiatives that span across all the Nonprofit customers.
• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solution Architects and leaders from internal and external sources.
• Build and coach the team on the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers considering or using AWS.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development leadership to accelerate progress for the team, adjusting resources strategies as needed.
• Lead solutions architecture teams in driving revenue and market share for AWS through technical engagements.
• Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and Support.
• Effectively communicate with a diverse set of audiences and drive both business and technology discussions with senior leaders internally and externally.
